This Romney achievement, as we all know, is the basis for the individual mandate under ObamaCare (which Gingrich supported in 1993, in 2006, and which -- though no one seems to notice -- he included as a requirement in his plan for Church-going illegal immigrants to stay in the U.S. (that they needed to purchase health insurance)).
Hard to understand why the handsome and arrogant Romney is unpalatable while the fat, arrogant Gingrich is the flavor of the month.

That's easy. Gingrich strikes Republican primary voters as the candidate most likely to deliver the sort of divise party politics that such voters want.
"Divisive" probably works better in the preceding sentence.
